Remember that post I did a while back about Rachel, the lady who’s trying to get to Sweden to get a breakthrough surgery to save her life? Well, a few things have happened, and she’s gotten to the point where she’s actually really close to getting it done. They need a little more to support them while they’re actually out of the country. Meaning it’s push time for fundraising.
Including, apparently, my Darling Wife shaving her head. If she can get $5000 pledged, she’ll shave her head. If she can get $10,000, she’ll do the eyebrows too. For $20,000, she’ll think about shaving her legs, but no promises.
Thus does she prove her sincerity. Me? I put in for $100 for something I’m not at all certain I want. That’s how I prove mine.
