  1. Aye, you too. Came in here looking for details on some sequels (“King’s Blood” and whatever follows “Leviathan”), but I’ll take a Merry Christmas, happy holidays and a happy new year. ‘EY UP.

      • General stuff. I liked the books loads, so I thought I’d poke around for history, trivia, release dates, titles. Uh, lore? (“Lore” probably is not the right word to use in this context, but it’s late and my brain is off. You probably get what I mean.) Argh, summer seems so far away. I have some stuff to tide me over till then, but I’ve worked up an itch for Expanse.

I hope the second book’s as good as the first (or even better!). Looking forward to it.

My original reply was half to Mr. Abraham, half to the Corey persona, but I suppose something directly aimed at the Franck half of Corey is in order. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to you too, Mr. Franck! 🙂

        • The word we’ve gotten on Caliban’s War release date is June of 2012. I think King’s Blood comes out a month before that? I think that’s right.

To help with the gap between books, Orbit has commissioned us to write five novella length stories to be released in between each Expanse novel. They may or may not be about POV characters from the series, but they will all take place in that same setting.

Trivia: Daniel likes thoughtful introspective beginnings to books. I like explosions.
